Biography

The Winchesters make regular passage of the bridge between toe-tapping country jams (like those of The Lone Bellow) and heart-filled introspective poetry (inspired by the likes of Tom Waits and Bob Dylan).

The group started playing for fun in a little apartment on Winchester Avenue in the summer of 2014, and haven't been able to give it up since. A tight-knit bunch from the beginning, their closeness shows in their meticulously blended harmonies. When they're not rockin' your socks off, the Winchesters bring that same sense of living-room-intimacy to every crowd. They'll hit you in your heart and get you on your feet.

In Chicago, The Winchesters have appeared at Martyrs', Elbo Room, Chop Shop, and Uncommon Ground, among others.

Since releasing their first EP in 2016, The Winchesters have expanded their stylistic range and catalog of tunes. They are in the process of recording their first full-length album at Gravity Studios in Wicker Park with producer Julian Stacey. They will release in late fall of 2018.
